As we ascend into Spring with the green of the leaves returning and the flowers beginning to bloom, we are reminded of the beauty and resilience of Nature. It is said that when Persephone returned from the Underworld and was once again allowed to be reunited with her mother Demeter, the Earth flourished with vegetation and color and Demeter's garden was once again full of life. This candle has been made in reflection of that. Her time divided between Earth and the Underworld, Persephone's time with her mother precious. meant to be savoured and appreciated. As the wax of this candle burns, the beauty of nature, of the flowers will be revealed.
