UPSIDE DOWN WITCHES

For those living in the southern hemisphere

Living in Australia – or anywhere in the southern hemisphere for that matter – can be a little confusing for a witch. Most books I have read list dates for Sabbaths that bear no relation to the actual cycle of our seasons. We are at opposite ends of the seasonal wheel with our Northern hemisphere family.

So for us here today, it marks the half way point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice , the sabbath of Beltane — a celebration of Growth!
